2/5/14: W...W...W...Wednesday: Sooooo Muchhh Stuffff

This Wednesday meme is hosted by Should Be Reading.

  • Currently Reading
    • I actually am currently reading a bunch of stuff because I have started a bunch of books, but haven't gotten into them. It's sad. I hate going through reading slumps. But I'm reading (or have started) Rapture by Lauren Kate and Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi.

  • Finished Reading
    • Hahahaha... I finished a poetry book called Egghead by Bo Burnham which was really good. In class we actually have been reading short stories that I've enjoyed. But yeah...

I'm sorry I haven't been delivering guys. It's been busy. I hope to rise from my slump after all the stuff I've been having to deal with is done. Have a good night friends.

1/8/14: W...W...W...Wednesday:

Wednesday's meme is hosted by Should Be Reading.

  • Currently Reading
    • I am current reading Passion by Lauren Kate, the third book in the Fallen series.

Hey guys! Sorry this was kind of blunt and boring post. School has started back up again, and I just learned I have a crap load of Confirmation stuff I have to do within the next few weeks. But I will still be posting, just not as often as Christmas. Have a good week!

12/11/13: W...W...W...Wednesday: Hey...Guys...

Wednesday's meme is hosted by Should Be Reading.
  • Currently Reading
    • I am currently reading Being Friends With Boys by Terra Elan McVoy. I hope to write a nice long review for this one, along with two other contemporary books I read. Also, this book has a really pretty cover :).

  • Finished Reading
    • I read a lot of books the past few weeks (over NaNoWriMo and Exam Study Guide making). A couple of those books are Firebrand by Antony John (amazing sequel to Elemental), My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick, and Anna and the French Kiss (CUTESY TOOTSIEY) by Stephanie Perkins. All of which, I enjoyed.

  • To Read
    • I want to read a bunch of books, in fact I have a huge stack, since Christmas is coming up, but my top two are Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle and Passion, the third book in the Fallen series, by Lauren Kate.

Sorry I haven't been on lately. Between NaNo and Exams it's been insane. I want to get out a few reviews, but between all the exam crap going on, it might not be too likely. Oh well. I've missed this. :)
Have a good Wednesday,
~Monty

10/16/13: Waiting on Wednesday: Allegiant by Veronica Roth

Allegiant
By Veronica Roth
October 22, 2013
One choice will define you.

What if your whole world was a lie?
What if a single revelation—like a single choice—changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?

The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered—fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she’s known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.

But Tris’s new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature—and of herself—while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice, and love.

Told from a riveting dual perspective, Allegiant, by #1 New York Times best-selling author Veronica Roth, brings the Divergent series to a powerful conclusion while revealing the secrets of the dystopian world that has captivated millions of readers in Divergent and Insurgent.

The final book to a magnificent trilogy.
What decision will Tris have to make?
Will violence continue to in sue?
 Will loyalties be shattered?
Will love be?
Or will it all be renewed?
What will lie beyond the fence?
What were they hiding?
Life?

W...W....W...Wednesday: Fangirl

Ello Mates!

For Wednesday I'm going to do W... W... W... Wednesdays hosted by Should Be Reading.
  • Currently Reading
I am currently reading Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, and I don't quite have an opinion on it. But I do hope it's good and that its all that people have said its cracked up to be.

  • Finished Reading
I recently finished reading Escape from Camp 14, which was an amazing book. I had originally wanted to read it because John Green said amazing things about it and it sounded like just the educational book I need for the political view on North Korea.

  • To-Read
I won many ARCs this past week and I hope to read most of them. That includes Rogue Hunter: Dark Space by Kevis Hendrickson, Water by Terra Harmony (Oh MY GODS THE COVER), and so many more! Can't wait to start!

Notes
Not too much to say on this fine, fine day. I have a lot of tests coming up so I'll be more freaking out over that than reading, but hopefully I'll have a lot more time to read soon! Have a good HUMP DAY!

W...W...W...Wednesday: Bloody Fangirls

Hey Guys!

For Wednesday I'm going to do W... W... W... Wednesdays hosted by Should Be Reading.

  • Currently Reading
I'm actually about ready to stop reading this book. The writing is nice, the way it is written souly in poetry, but the story itself is kind of all over the place and there is too much conflict and not enough solution. I think I'll just go ahead and finish it, because it is a easy and fast read, but otherwise I think this one'll be 2/5.

  • Finished Reading
I love a goo old-fashioned Anthony Horowitz Horror Story. This is the third book in a collection of short horror stories. I first started reading them in fourth grade and they have scared the living pants off me ever since. Great plot-twists, great character (that are developed perfectly over short amounts of time), and great story-lines. Definite 5/5.
  • To-Read
John Green actually suggested me Escape from Camp 14. I read the first page and was totally hooked, so that's a good sign. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell is coming out very soon and I got it on pre-order to come as soon as it's released, so expect a review of that!

Notes
So I have decided to do these weekly things, and which means I will no longer do a regular Thursday post like I do, but instead do a Book Review every Thursday. Also, over weekends, I will do a fandom post which will pertain to Movies, Fandoms, or Authors. Thanks guys, and have an amazing Thursday!
